A new adventure

No stylistic boundaries

Anyone who has visited the Epic Metal Blog's Instagram profile in recent weeks will already know that the journey continues for me with Magnets and Miracles. At first I only had an Instagram profile in mind, but now I've decided to start a blog again. Well, here we are.

As mentioned elsewhere, there are no stylistic boundaries here - anything I like is relevant. Naturally, the focus is on guitar-led music, i.e. rock, hard rock and metal. However, dark wave, synth pop and blues will also play a role.

The name of this blog, Magnets and Miracles, is borrowed from one of my all-time favourite songs: "High Hopes", released on The Division Bell, the album that started my adventure into the Pink Floyd cosmos 30 years ago. In this respect, I owe a debt of gratitude to Polly Samson, David Gilmour's wife, for these wonderful lyrics that inspired me.
